There were people offering dance lessons during the set-up for those who weren't familiar. [Though admittedly some of the music that's been playing is an bit mismatches for a Fontainian Waltz. That's the only dance he saw being offered, though.]

I figured. [So she gets a crash course from a guy who learned like 2 weeks ago.

After another cycle in the box step:] Do you have it down? Try moving your feet at the same time as mine now.

Okay. [ She's a little hesitant, but he's not moving super fast, so after a second to deliberate, she's able to fall into the rhythm he sets. ]

No, I mean I wasn't paying attention to how many steps it was before that!

From what I learned there is no specific count of steps for the twirl. You just have to be ready for it at any time.

Good. [Then he'll totally attempt to throw her into one last twirl before the song ends.]

[ He can! And because she knows it's him, she does actually expect this one, returning back to him with a breathless laugh. ]

[Alhaitham comes to a stop once she's drawn back into place as the music wanes before the next song.]

That's good for you. [Being prepared and all. Alhaitham releases her and takes a step back. There is a momentary look of expectation, a silent question if she'll be walking with him when he says:] Then my work here is done. I'm going to return to my table.

I'll walk you back! It's the least I could do after I'm technically the reason you came out here.

[ She doesn't mind. ]

And it's not just because you want to get off the dance floor before someone else asks? [Someone who isn't Robby, obviously.

He turns on his heel and starts walking off.]

[Alhaitham simply looks amused as her realization as they escape the dance floor. He, of course, plans to go back to his table, but not far from getting off the stage his foot is caught from moving further.
